  • pinch of salt

  • 2 cups frozen mango

*If you don’t have frozen mango, chop 1 fresh mango and freeze it overnight*

Ingredients

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place your avocado, frozen mango, maple syrup, and salt into a jar.

  2. Blend with a handblender until combined.

Yields about 2 servings

TIPS WHEN MAKING MANGO SORBET:

  • For a smoother texture, use a high speed blender. For best results, double each recipe. Yields about 5-6 servings. For a creamier texture, use 2 avocados.

  • Why should you use avocado? Avocado makes the sorbet creamy and delicious. It resembles the texture of dairy ice cream. Avocado has a very mild taste and the flavor of the fruit overpowers the flavor of the avocado.

  • Freeze overnight and let it thaw 20 minutes before serving the next day. Makes beautiful ice cream scoops.
