Vegan Chocolate Mousse
Hey chocolate lovers, this one is for you! The easy, delicious, chocolate mousse recipe takes only a few minutes to make! You will fall in love with this amazing, creamy, nutritious, chocolate dessert that won’t make you feel guilty when eating it!
INGREDIENTS:
1 avocado
2 tbsp. maple syrup (or more to your taste)
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS:
Start by placing the avocado, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt into a jar.
Blend all of your ingredients together using a hand blender, a food processor, or a high speed blender.
Scrape the sides of the jar with a spatula to ensure that all of the ingredients are blended completely.
Serve with your favorite berries.
Yields about 1-2 servings
TIPS WHEN MAKING CHOCOLATE MOUSSE:
When using a handblender, it’s easier to make this recipe in a jar or a similarly-narrow container. It’s simpler to blend and the ingredients don’t spray everywhere while blending.
If you add the cocoa powder first, and then the rest of the ingredients, the cocoa powder won’t sprinkle everywhere when blending.
This recipe tastes amazing with blueberries, raspberries, or any other berry.
