Homemade Tomato Sauce
Tomato sauce is so easy to make at home! It also tastes so much better than anything you can find at the store.

INGREDIENTS:
3 large tomatoes, roughly chopped
Handful of parsley, chopped
4 white onions, roughly chopped
1 red onion, roughly chopped
Head of garlic, roughly chopped
Drizzle avocado oil
1.5 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 small whole clove
A few basil leaves (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Place garlic into the pot
Add the oil and sauté until slightly golden
Add parsley
Add onions
Add tomatoes
Bring to a boil, and simmer until the sauce is reduced in half. It should take about 1.5 hours
Add salt
Add pepper
Add clove
Remove heat
Blend with immersion blender until smooth
Enjoy hot, or refrigerate for later. It also freezes well
This sauce can be stored in the freezer or refrigerator for future use
