Vegan Chocolate Mousse

Hey chocolate lovers, this one is for you! The easy, delicious, chocolate mousse recipe takes only a few minutes to make! You will fall in love with this amazing, creamy, nutritious, chocolate dessert that won’t make you feel guilty when eating it!

 INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 avocado

  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup (or more to your taste)

  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder

  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

  • pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Start by placing the avocado, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt into a jar.

  2. Blend all of your ingredients together using a hand blender, a food processor, or a high speed blender.

  3. Scrape the sides of the jar with a spatula to ensure that all of the ingredients are blended completely.

  4. Serve with your favorite berries.

Yields about 1-2 servings

TIPS WHEN MAKING CHOCOLATE MOUSSE:

  • When using a handblender, it’s easier to make this recipe in a jar or a similarly-narrow container. It’s simpler to blend and the ingredients don’t spray everywhere while blending.

  • If you add the cocoa powder first, and then the rest of the ingredients, the cocoa powder won’t sprinkle everywhere when blending.

  • This recipe tastes amazing with blueberries, raspberries, or any other berry.
