Who doesn’t like baked apples with a hint of cinnamon? This delicious apple crumble is gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan. A great way to end any meal!

INGREDIENTS:

For The Apples:

  • 6 apples

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

  • 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup

  • sprinkle of ground cloves

  • sprinkle of cinnamon

Peeled And Grated Apples

For The Crumble:

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 2 tbsp, vegetable oil

  • 1/2 tbsp. maple syrup

DIRECTIONS:

Apple Mixture:

  1. Wash and peel your apples

  2. Grate your apples

  3. Add the salt, vegetable oil, maple syrup, cloves, and cinnamon to the grated apples

  4. Mix well

  5. Set aside

Crumble:

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. In a separate bowl, add the almond flour

  3. Gradually add the oil to the flour

  4. Mix with a fork in order to get rid of all the chunks in the flour and to keep the mixture loose

  5. Mix well

  6. Gradually add the maple syrup to the crumble mixture

  7. Mix well

Arranging Your Crumble:

  1. Sprinkle a thin layer of crumble on the bottom of a pan

  2. Add a thin layer of apples on top of your crumble

  3. Add another layer of crumble on top of the apples

  4. Add the rest of the apples on top

  5. Top with the rest of the crumble

  6. Sprinkle cinnamon on the top of your apple crumble

  7. Bake for one hour

  8. Let it cool to touch before serving

Baked Apple Crumble

TIPS WHEN MAKING APPLE CRUMBLE:

  • You can use any type of apples to make this recipe.

  • Grate your apples on a larger grater.

  • If your apples are very juicy, do not add the leftover juice to the crumble after layering, otherwise it will be too moist.

  • Serve with our blueberry sorbet.
