Baked Apples
These baked apples are the perfect addition to any protein of your choice!

SHOP INGREDIENTS:
INGREDIENTS:
6 Granny Smith or Macintosh apples
Drizzle of avocado oil
Yields about 6 servings
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F
2. Remove the wax off of the apples by soaking them in about 4 tsp of water, about 4 tsp salt. Make sure the water covers majority of the apples. Scrub with a dish brush, and soak for 15 min.
3. Dry the apples off and place them in a baking pan
4. Drizzle some avocado oil
5. Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the apples have “exploded” and are very soft and have lost their shape.
6. Enjoy as is, or with chicken or turkey!
